Message to Parents and Guardians

The purpose of the Club shall be to develop, promote and administer the game of soccer among our youth (boys and girls under 19 years of age), regardless of race, color, creed and/or ability. We cannot over emphasize that the California Youth Soccer Association North program is FOR THE KIDS. The emphasis is placed on the principles of CYSA North, especially good sportsmanship. This applies to the coaches and the parents, not only the children. Participation in a sports program includes some competitiveness that is not to be confused with a "Win At All Costs" attitude. Development, skill instruction and fun are what our Club promotes.

“Children having fun playing soccer” is the motto of CYSA North and is a goal shared with this club. Through its rules and bylaws, the NHAYSC maintains an atmosphere of sportsmanship and friendly competition in which learning and playing soccer is foremost. The bylaws and rules are established by and used by cooperative and benevolent adults to build and maintain a wholesome soccer environment in which children may play.

NHAYSC also promotes safety for our players. We adhere to CYSA North rules that all coaches within the organization are to be fingerprinted and approved by CYSA North in order to be out on the fields coaching our children. We will also be following the CYSA North Concussion Policy to maintain the safety of your child. The safety of your child is important to us.

This year NHAYSC is celebrating its 40th Anniversary. Parents support like yours and keeping your kids involved in soccer has what made this Club so successful.

Let's keep it going and enjoy this year and many more to come.

Thank you for joining us this year.
